Christmas Toy Drive and Teddy Bear Toss
With the Christmas season upon us 557 Lorne Scots RCACC and their partner; the Brampton Jr B Hockey Club wanted to give back to the community. On December 2nd; 557 hosted a successful toy drive and on December 11th the Brampton Jr B Bombers hosted a teddy bear toss/toy drive.
All the toys and teddy bears donated/collected from both events were donated on December 22nd to Brampton Civic Hospital Paediatric ward, received by Resource Nurse Christine Gonzales. In addition to these gifts, the hockey team added hockey sticks, pucks and some Mc Donalds kids club items from their sponsor.

The joy expressed by the nursing staff was overwhelming as toy donations are usually forgotten at our home hospital for the children in need.
