Pink in the Rink Jerseys
Get Ready for Pink in the Rink 2018!
On Friday, Nov-16 at 7:30pm, the Brampton Bombers will host Pink in the Rink in support of Kidney Cancer Canada, sponsored by Origin Active Lifestyle Communities.
Now in its 5th year, Pink in the Rink raises funds for kidney cancer research while raising awareness about this devastating disease.
With the generous support of the players’ parents, volunteers, businesses and other members of the community, we raised a total of over $12,500 in the first four years but, as long as any form of cancer exists, our work is not done.
We need donations for our silent auction and bake sale, and encourage you to generously bid on the players’ special game-worn jerseys.
As the winning bidder, you will have the opportunity to dedicate the jersey to someone you know who is fighting or has fought cancer. The person’s name can be placed on the jersey and, before the game starts, a brief announcement will be made about the dedication. After the game, the player will meet you on the ice and will remove his jersey to present it to you. It truly is a wonderful event.
Bidding is open until 11:59pm Saturday, November 3. Opening bid is $80 and subsequent bids should be in increments of $20. Thanks in advance to all bidders for their generous support!
