Certificates of Appreciation

Certificates of Appreciation were presented by the Brampton Bombers on Dec-02 to Listowel Cyclones staff Cory Birk, Dr. Brent Milljour, ‎Dr. Rex Warren and Dr‎. Barb Matthews for their assistance when our player, Tyler Wood, was injured during a game in Listowel on Oct-28. Their action, along with that of Bombers Equipment Manager Blair Jones and Head Coach Nic Martins (not pictured here but also awarded certificates), contributed to possibly saving Tyler’s life. “Some things are bigger than hockey.”

Pictured left to right with the Listowel staff are Doug Black (Convenor, Midwestern Conference), Selene Wood (Tyler’s Mother), Tyler Wood and Chuck Williams (Commissioner, GOJHL).

Thanks to Dan McNee, Sports Reporter for the Listowel Banner / Minto Express, for the photo.
