GENERAL MANAGER – Robin Inscoe
Robin Inscoe re-joined the Arsenault Hockey Group team in August 2019 after taking a few years away from the game.
Inscoe is no stranger to AHG, having been involved at the ground level during the organization’s inception. He has returned to AHG as its Director of Player Personnel, responsible for overseeing the recruiting and development of players within all branches of the organization. In addition he is also the GM of the Bombers Jr. B hockey team.
AHG currently encompasses three different divisions in the Ontario Hockey Association – with teams in the junior A, junior B and junior C classifications, along with the recently acquired AHG Academy, a youth spring/summer program.
Inscoe is familiar with all three junior divisions and has been a General Manager at each, including stints with the Acton Sabres and Woodstock Navy Vets Jr. C, Orangeville Crushers Jr. B and Georgetown Raiders Jr. A, where the team enjoyed a successful run, culminating in Georgetown’s trip to the Royal Bank Cup in Weyburn, Saskatchewan in 2005. He has also worked in an executive capacity with the Brampton Capitals, Villanova Knights, Orangeville Flyers, Owen Sound Greys and Fergus Devils,
the latter four as part of the AHG umbrella.
Robin looks forward to working with the young players within the organization to help them realize their dreams and goals. He can be reached at (416) 846-1383 or by email at Robin@AHGHockey.com.
HEAD COACH – Chris Taylor
The Bombers are pleased to have Chris Taylor back for a second season with the hockey club. Chris stays on with the Bombers as the Head Coach for the 2020-2021 campaign. Last season, Chris split the year as Head Coach and Assistant Coach with the Bombers.
Prior to joining the AHG community, Chris was the Assistant Coach of the Guelph Hurricanes of the GOJHL from 2013-2015, and the coach of the Halton Hurricanes AAA 03 Age Group from 2016-2019. His experience in the GOJHL started as a player in 2012 with the Guelph Hurricanes, followed by the Cambridge Winterhawks, where he won the Cherrey Cup in the 2012-2013 season. Chris hopes his experience in the league will help him demonstrate to players the value of playing in the GOJHL. Chris is looking forward to help improve the Bombers on-ice performance in the years to come.
ASSISTANT COACH – FORWARD & PENALTY KILL COACH – Aaron Duggan
Aaron Duggan is back with the Bombers as a second year coach in the GOJHL. His knowledge of the Conference is extensive having played in the GOJHL Midwest Conference for three seasons, prior to becoming a coach. In his playing days, Aaron spent time with the Cobourg Cougars in 2009-2010 and transitioned to the GOJHL the following season with the Kitchener Dutchmen, where he spent two years and becoming an assistant captain in 2011-2012. In his final year of junior eligibility he was moved to the Cambridge Winterhawks, where he won a Cherrey Cup as GOJHL Midwestern Conference champions, and making a run to the Sutherland Cup finals.
Duggan is also a graduate of the Sport Management Program at Durham College, graduating with Honours in 2016.
“We are excited to have Aaron return to the Bombers for the coming season to pick up where we left off, and continue to grow the program to a place where we want to be.” said head coach Chris Taylor. “Aaron will be relied upon to run the forward half of the bench, as well as splitting the penalty kill duties. Aaron has a good relationship with the players, and I will look for him to leverage that to make our team better every single day.”
ASSISTANT COACH-DEFENCE & PENALTY KILL COACH – Trevor Hache
The Bombers are excited to bring in another coach with experience playing in the Midwestern Conference. As a player, Trevor grew up playing AAA in the Halton region. He split his junior career between the Streetsville Derbys and the Cambridge Winterhawks. Trevor was the captain of the 2012-2013 Cherrey Cup champion Cambridge Winterhawks.
Once Trevor was done playing, he turned to coaching starting his coaching career in 2014. Hache will be relied upon to develop the Bombers defence, as well as help Aaron Duggan with the team’s penalty kill. “Trevor will bring a great deal of experience on defence to our coaching staff and we are lucky to have him,” noted Taylor, who played with Hache and Duggan on Cambridge’s championship team.
ASSISTANT COACH – VIDEO & PLAYER’S COACH – Adam Putnam
Adam Putnam is also joining the Bombers coaching staff for the 2020-2021 season. Putnam grew up playing high level hockey, but was forced to quit at a young age due to health reasons. After quitting in 2010, Adam became an on ice official as well as a coach to stay in the game.
Adam will be relied upon as the team’s video and player’s coach, during games and practices. “After being forced to quit hockey, Adam turned to coaching right away,” said Taylor. “We value his knowledge for the game and are excited to have him on our staff.”
“I look forward to working with the entire staff in helping our players advance to the next level,” said Inscoe. “With several veterans indicating their desire to return and a strong crop of players looking to move up from the midget and Junior C ranks, we should ice a very competitive team.
ATHLETIC THERAPIST – Sukai Jeng
EQUIPMENT MANAGER – Blair Jones
ASSISTANT EQUIPMENT MANAGER – Jayden Finch
The Bombers would like to welcome Jayden Finch to the team’s equipment staff for the 2020-21 season. Jayden has a hockey background, working behind the scenes with the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads and also refereeing in the GTHL.
In addition, he took on the responsibility of managing the rugby and varsity hockey teams for his high school. “I have a passion for hockey and have loved the game since I was young,” said Finch. “Please feel free to say hello if you see me around the rink.”
